MilkRoad

This privacy and data processing policy establishes the manner in which the MilkRoad application collects, stores, processes, handles, manages, transfers, transmits and/or shares information, whether of a personal nature or not, that You supply or provide when you access and register in the Application or in any other channel developed in the future by MilkRoad, or in any way use the Application and/or the other services offered in MilkRoad.

The information about the User that MilkRoad collects, stores, handles, manages, transfers, transmits and/or shares may or may not be of a personal nature, may or may not be of a private character, and may even be information or data protected by the applicable personal data protection laws. Whatever the nature of the information, its processing, handling, storage, transfer, transmission and/or management by MilkRoad shall comply with the applicable personal data protection regulations.

The User, as owner or holder of the Personal Information, or as the subject to whom such information refers, shall have the rights granted by the respective applicable legislation in the corresponding jurisdictions where it operates. In Colombia, Users (holders of the Personal Information) shall have the rights established in Law 1581 of 2012 and in Law 1266 of 2008, and in any other regulation that modifies, replaces or complements them, in particular, but not limited to, Decree 1377 of 2013, such as the rights of access, revocation, deletion, updating, rectification, correction, cancellation and objection regarding their personal data and Personal Information.

“Sensitive Data” is understood to mean data that affects the User's privacy or whose improper use may give rise to discrimination, such as data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political orientation, religious or philosophical convictions, membership in trade unions, social organizations or human rights organizations, or organizations that promote the interests of any political party or that guarantee the rights and guarantees of opposition political parties, as well as data relating to health, sexual life and biometric data.

In MilkRoad the user's name is required and the entry of the quantity of liters collected at the farms where the raw material is gathered is enabled; this information is stored, protected and backed up on DEVCLOUD servers using encryption for the transport and storage of sensitive data such as the login password.

In MilkRoad the precise geographic location (GPS) of the device is collected, only while the Application is being used, without background access or continuous tracking of the User. The location is captured at two moments: when the carrier expressly requests it by pressing the “Tomar ubicación” (Take location) button while at the supplier's farm, in order to record where the property is located; and when a collection is recorded, in order to document the place from which that record was made. For each reading, the coordinates, the accuracy reported by the device, the date and time of capture, and the user who performed it are stored. This information is used for route planning, verification of collections and the preparation of statistics on the operation; it is stored and backed up on DEVCLOUD servers together with the Application's other data, and it is not shared with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes unrelated to the operation described herein.

MilkRoad undertakes to comply with its obligation of secrecy regarding personal data that constitutes Private Information (that is, data that is not public in nature), and with its duty to treat such data confidentially, and assumes, for these purposes, the technical, organizational and security measures necessary to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing or access. The Personal Information of each User's MilkRoad account is protected by a password for privacy and security. The User must prevent unauthorized access to their account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting the password appropriately and by limiting access to their mobile device, logging out when finishing access to their account.
